CALM

I know it has been awhile since I last blogged, I've been occupied with randoms things but I promise to blog everyday this week. Right now I'm enjoying the calm before the storm, Southern Ontario is expecting a two day winter storm that might just shut down the city. You know what that means right? SNOW DAY!WOOT! I can finally get some tobboganing in before the season is over. I know just which hat to wear that will make me a fashionista on the hill.

What do you think? Can I pull it off or what?

REVERE

I finally made the time to clean the basement today and I discovered treasure! Upon opening one of many huge tupperware storage containers I found vintage purses! They are so beautfiul I just about started to cry when I saw them.

LACE

Southern Ontario is experiencing a winter snowstorm, yikes! That means I'm shut in again. So I thought I would share my obsession for braids tonight. I love the clean classic look of a braid, did you know that there are 13 different types of braids? Crazy huh. Well I'm not going to list them all off I'm just going to tell you my favorite type. The Lace Braid! Never heard of it? Well it's like a French braid, but gathers extra hair only from one side as it travels down the head. Below is my attempt at the lace braid

Did I forget to mention that I'm not good at braids, oops. Here is what it should look like

Well after my many failed attempts to conquer the lace braid I decided to paint my nails a metallic green instead.

FEVER

I've been cooped up in my house the last week trying to kick the common cold bug from my body. So today cabin fever finally set in, so in my attempt to save my sanity I started to sew! My mother left me three sewing machines and trained me at a young age to use them so today I made myself this uber cute mini skirt.

I loved it so much that I ran out to Fabricland and bought myself a Vogue skirt pattern and went crazy cutting and sewing the day away.Stay tuned for the finished product.

It has been an entire week since my last blog and not much has happened on the fashion front due to my crippling cold. I do have a few pictures of my new favorite dress that came in from Ruche and my beautiful Guess stiletto heels below enjoy.

INFATUATION

So I will get started by posting my interest for over the knee boots. I recently visited Toronto and saw the most beautiful pair of over the knee boots on a passerby who rocked them with a mini and fishnets and have been infatuated since.
